In May, I was in Phoenix with some amazing and brilliant life coaches for my Clear Coaches Entrepreneur’s Weekend Retreat. I considered myself lucky to be with them but at the same time, I was wondering what the hell I was thinking and doing out there? Was I the odd woman in the group? Georgina, my lizard kept saying…..
You are not young.
You are not beautiful.
You are not adequate.
Then, we had this session called “Spotlight” where each one discussed her own sweet spot and business plan, where we wanted to take our business and what exactly did we need help with. We went around the table and each one spoke eloquently about what they stood for and wanted to achieve in their life through their business. Ahhhh, the exuberance of youth. My mind and heart were racing again. I was nervous. What do I have to say and offer? Oh, shut your trap, Georgina…..
I may not be young but I have the experience, maturity and wisdom.
I may not be beautiful but I have soul.
I may not feel adequate but I am perfect as I am.
My turn came and I discovered that I am perfectly right where I have to be. My own personal life experiences puts me in the best position to inspire and help others. I have a message to share and my people want to hear it directly from me.
I can inspire as well as anyone else can.
So can you. Just get your ego out of the way and allow your soul to shine with brilliance. You will be amazed. That’s guaranteed!
